About

When a headline says something is "50% more effective," I want to know: more effective than what? Measured how? 50% of almost nothing is still almost nothing.

So I go check.

Crossvalid is where that checking gets published. I take trending claims in science and technology, trace them to their sources, and show what holds up. Sometimes the headline is right. Sometimes the actual paper tells a different story than the press release. I show you either way.

The process: find multiple independent sources, compare what they actually say (not what people say they say), flag where they disagree, and tell you what I think. The evidence is right there if you disagree.

When I can't verify something, I say so.

That's it. Read a post, see if the checking is real.
